A passer of the future in Moore, and a F, for the Raiders. The phones were a trap the Raiders kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.
The whole projection now runs through Dante Moore; hit there and everything else looks smarter. If Abney II pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Reese.
The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
