This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Ward, the No. 7 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

The dealing was even money, start to finish.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
