Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Seahawks spent pick 236 on Jordan Toles, a name most had 41 spots down the list.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker and quarterback still on the board.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
