Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Jaguars spent pick No. 155 on Jared Wiley, a name most had 41 spots down the list.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
