Larceny in Round 6, Pick 13 lands the Bengals a D, Williams and all.

Somebody in pick No. 191 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bengals sat still while Savion Williams, the No. 93 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
