Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will need Hamilton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

However the rest shakes out, Grant at that price is a win they earned.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
