Paul should have been long gone. The Cardinals pounced, and earned a A-.

The Cardinals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Patrick Paul, the No. 69 name on the board, in the Round 4 slot. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. It is not that McKinstry is a bad player; it is that the Cardinals had louder needs to answer first.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Darius Slay gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Chop Robinson and all.
