Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureA+
Moore should have been long gone. The Titans pounced, and earned a B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Malachi Moore at pick 142 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

The White III pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick12 Rnd1 Shemar Stewart
In Round 1, Pick 12 they get a bendy edge with upside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick34 Rnd2 Emeka Egbuka
Emeka Egbuka is a better player than the Round 2 slot suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick35 Rnd2 Grey Zabel
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Grey Zabel. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick44 Rnd2 Xavier Watts
Xavier Watts in pick 44 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick102 Rnd4 Jaylin Noel
They did well to land Jaylin Noel in the 102nd overall pick, just ahead of his grade. The roster fit checks out.
Pick104 Rnd4 Carson Schwesinger
Steal is underselling it; Carson Schwesinger at slot 104 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick119 Rnd4 Riley Leonard
Riley Leonard at the 119th pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick142 Rnd5 Malachi Moore
You do not let a safety like Malachi Moore reach pick No. 142 and blink. They did not. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick168 Rnd5 Tyler Cooper
By-the-book stuff, Tyler Cooper at the Round 5 slot squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick180 Rnd6 Ricky White III
Value said wait; Ricky White III in Round 6, Pick 2 says they were not listening. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick241 Rnd7 Logan Parr
They jumped the gun on Logan Parr, taking him earlier than his grade liked. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
