Ponds should have been long gone. The Commanders pounced, and earned a B.

The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: D'Angelo Ponds, the No. 50 name on the board, in pick No. 71. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
