A solid, sensible weekend for the 49ers: B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The 49ers walked out of the weekend still thin at offensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They are betting Halton proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Clark falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
