The Giants fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Giants spent the 155th overall pick on Barryn Sorrell, a name most had 172 spots down the list.
Landing Mondon Jr. that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
