The Bears ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

If All pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Proctor at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
