The 49ers torched the value chart for Christian Jones, taking him 66 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
