The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Jordan Hancock, the No. 222 name on the board, sitting there at slot 252 like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Every board in the league had McLaughlin lower, and that gap is the story. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
