The 49ers robbed the room for Fitzgerald. Final grade: C+.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Ryan Fitzgerald, the No. 107 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

Griffith has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

If Jahdae Barron and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
