The Lions let Smith fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Lions were there to profit. Ainias Smith, the No. 173 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Mahogany has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Lions indulged a want in Abrams-Draine while a need in cornerback, safety and other spots stayed open.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
