For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
