The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched David Stone slide 49 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

The 49ers paired the rookies with proven help, Zach Frazier leading the way.

In the end it comes back to David Stone, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
