The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Johnson: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the 49ers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Paige pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
