The steal of the weekend belongs to the Lions and Echoles: A-.

The board owed the Lions one, and it paid up: Will Echoles, the No. 14 name on the board, sitting there at slot 51 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. It is not that Baugh is a bad player; it is that the Lions had louder needs to answer first.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Will Echoles and all.
