The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chiefs and Ransom: B.

When a board-topper like Lathan Ransom slides to Round 4, Pick 31, you do not overthink it, and the Chiefs did not.

The Ransom pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and edge rusher still on the board. Conner has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

In pick 31 they get a moveable chess piece at tight end, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
