Draft Grade — Texans
Overall

The Texans kept it disciplined and banked a B. The one they had to fix is still broken. The Texans left wide receiver untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The Coleman steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The cost of the Lomu reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
Caleb Lomu
In Round 1, Pick 28 they get a plug-and-play piece up front, even if it was a touch early. A real need, handled.
Pick38
Rnd2
T.J. Parker
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing T.J. Parker in slot 38. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick59
Rnd2
Jonah Coleman
Jonah Coleman at pick No. 59 is money in the bank, a running back taken below his worth. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
