For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The 49ers walked out of the weekend still thin at offensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

Thieneman has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Dennis-Sutton.

So much rides on Dillon Thieneman that the real verdict is a season or two away.
