Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chargers were there to profit. Harold Perkins Jr., the No. 128 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot.

Reaching for Henderson left real value on the table behind him. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
