They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Willie Roberts, 62 picks early at No. 249.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

If Taliese Fuaga and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
