Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Browns were there to profit. Connor Lew, the No. 65 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 248. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A.

Everything downstream of Fernando Mendoza depends on Fernando Mendoza, and the building knows it. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Fernando Mendoza and all.
