The Packers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Christian Jones, the No. 190 name on the board, in the 217th overall pick. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will answer for taking safety early while edge rusher and interior defensive lineman went begging. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
