The Packers checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Packers did exactly that with Kurtis Rourke in the Round 7 slot. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Owens at that price is a win they earned. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Tyler Nubin at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
