Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Seahawks.

Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Seahawks to leave a draft.

Landing McCoy that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. York has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Jermod McCoy
In No. 32 they get a sticky cover corner, and a steal at that. Need was not the driver here.
Pick64 Rnd2 Omar Cooper Jr.
Omar Cooper Jr. in the 64th pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick96 Rnd3 Taurean York
Taurean York in Round 3, Pick 32 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick213 Rnd6 Sawyer Robertson
Sawyer Robertson slipping to pick No. 213 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
