The Browns won the night they stopped King from sliding. Grade: A.

Call it larceny. Kobe King sat on the board until pick No. 214, and the Browns did not need to be asked twice. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
