Thirty-one other rooms let TreVeyon Henderson slide, and the Bears were the ones holding the card at the Round 6 slot. Highway robbery. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Caldwell has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
