The Broncos checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Broncos did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most.

They banked enough surplus on Orange to cover a lot of smaller sins. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
