Grand theft in slot 249: the Jaguars steal Lovett and grade out a B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Jaguars were there to profit. Dominic Lovett, the No. 212 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 7, Pick 29. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

With safety, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
