Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Quinshon Judkins got past him. The Seahawks do not have to explain a thing at No. 173. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The cost of the Mertz reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
