Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
A franchise passer in Nix headlines a B+ weekend for the Seahawks.

The search is over. The Seahawks handed the keys to Bo Nix, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Mims pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Hicks pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Bo Nix
In No. 21 they get a franchise quarterback. A real need, handled.
Pick53 Rnd2 Amarius Mims
Taking Amarius Mims in the Round 2 slot is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick81 Rnd3 Javon Bullard
Steal is underselling it; Javon Bullard at the 81st overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick93 Rnd3 Brenden Rice
Brenden Rice in pick No. 93 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick119 Rnd4 Jaden Hicks
They zigged when the board said zag, taking Jaden Hicks at safety with running back open.
Pick128 Rnd4 Justin Eboigbe
Justin Eboigbe at Round 4, Pick 28 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick131 Rnd4 Darius Robinson
A slide stopped in slot 131, with Darius Robinson worth more than the price. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick151 Rnd5 Luke McCaffrey
A tidy bit of business in the 151st pick, where Luke McCaffrey graded well above the range. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick161 Rnd5 Edefuan Ulofoshio
By-the-book stuff, Edefuan Ulofoshio at No. 161 squarely in line with his ranking. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick164 Rnd5 Austin Booker
They paid sticker price for Austin Booker in the 164th pick, and that is fine. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick194 Rnd6 Jordan Jefferson
Jordan Jefferson at Round 6, Pick 19 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The roster fit checks out.
Pick233 Rnd7 Austin Stogner
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Austin Stogner in slot 233, plain and simple. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
