There is conviction, and then there is this. The Seahawks took Hayden Conner a full 92 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

The Seahawks indulged a want in Watts while a need in edge rusher, linebacker and other spots stayed open. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
