A solid, sensible weekend for the Seahawks: B-.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took Donovan Smith at the Round 5 slot, roughly 93 spots before his name belonged.

On value alone, Starks makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
