The Seahawks spent the pick that matters most on J.J. McCarthy, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Lassiter.

The Nugent reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
