Overall

FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Seahawks. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jared Wilson at the 65th overall pick, a reach of 37 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Emmanwori pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick34
Rnd2
Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori at slot 34 is money in the bank, a safety taken below his worth. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick50
Rnd2
Marcus Mbow
Marcus Mbow at No. 50 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick52
Rnd2
Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson in the Round 2 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick65
Rnd3
Jared Wilson
They reached into another round for Jared Wilson, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick71
Rnd3
Elijah Arroyo
They took Elijah Arroyo at par in Round 3, Pick 7, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick82
Rnd3
Danny Stutsman
Danny Stutsman in the 82nd overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick128
Rnd4
Cobee Bryant
Nothing to complain about; Cobee Bryant went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
