The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Paul Jr.: D-.

Somebody in pick 210 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Chris Paul Jr., the No. 113 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The cost of the Howard reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. T.J. Hockenson gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
