For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Seahawks walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

The Ponds steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
