Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B
ValueA- NeedB+ TradesB FutureB-
Norman-Lott should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B.

The Seahawks did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Omarr Norman-Lott fell into the 212th pick. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. If Adams pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Will Campbell
Steal is underselling it; Will Campbell at No. 31 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick39 Rnd2 Jalon Walker
Somehow Jalon Walker was still sitting there in pick No. 39, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick63 Rnd2 Bradyn Swinson
No edge and no loss on Bradyn Swinson in pick 63; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick82 Rnd3 Tate Ratledge
A reasonable price with a little left over, Tate Ratledge in Round 3, Pick 18. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick132 Rnd4 Lathan Ransom
They will replay Lathan Ransom at the 132nd overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick137 Rnd4 Kyren Lacy
Kyren Lacy at the Round 4 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick173 Rnd5 Terrance Ferguson
Terrance Ferguson in the 173rd pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick212 Rnd6 Omarr Norman-Lott
They barely believed it either: Omarr Norman-Lott still on the board at slot 212. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick236 Rnd7 Brandon Adams
A reach on Brandon Adams in the Round 7 slot; the board had better options right there. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
