The Seahawks did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Seahawks reached some 26 spots for Braelon Allen, and value like that does not grow back. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.

Pick16 Rnd1 Chop Robinson

Chop Robinson in the 16th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

No edge and no loss on Khyree Jackson in the Round 3 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It adds depth where they could use a little.
