The Seahawks won the night they stopped McCormick from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in the 179th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Mason McCormick, the No. 146 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Watson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
