Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Seahawks: B-.

The war room fell hard for Josh Proctor, and it showed at the 154th pick: 33 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Barrett where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick16 Rnd1 Taliese Fuaga
In pick 16 they get a building block for the line. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick78 Rnd3 Cooper Beebe
Cooper Beebe in No. 78 is fair value, right on his grade. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick81 Rnd3 Spencer Rattler
A reach on Spencer Rattler in slot 81; the board had better options right there. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick118 Rnd4 Cam Hart
They reached a country mile for Cam Hart at pick No. 118, and the board is aghast. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick154 Rnd5 Josh Proctor
Value said wait; Josh Proctor in the 154th pick says they were not listening. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick194 Rnd6 Michael Barrett
Michael Barrett slid further than he should have, and Round 6, Pick 19 is lovely value for the linebacker. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick236 Rnd7 Eric Gentry
They jumped the gun on Eric Gentry, taking him earlier than his grade liked. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
