Mylz DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B
ValueB

TradesB-
FutureB-
The Seahawks drew a line under the quarterback search with Klubnik: B. Start where it matters. The Seahawks took Cade Klubnik to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.
Robinson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick11
Rnd1
Cade Klubnik
In the 11th pick they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick43
Rnd2
Max Klare
The board had Max Klare higher than slot 43, and the tight end fell to them anyway. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick75
Rnd3
Whit Weeks
By-the-book stuff, Whit Weeks at pick 75 squarely in line with his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick111
Rnd4
Chase Bisontis
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Chase Bisontis. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick150
Rnd5
Duce Robinson
Duce Robinson in pick No. 150 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick180
Rnd6
Xavier Nwankpa
Xavier Nwankpa in Round 6, Pick 4 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick189
Rnd6
Fernando Carmona
The board had cheaper options than Fernando Carmona at the 189th overall pick, and it noticed. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
