The Seahawks won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B. You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took Oluwafemi Oladejo at slot 121, roughly 120 spots before his name belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B.
Gadsden II falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
