Best value of the weekend goes to the Saints for Hill Jr.: B. When a board-topper like Anthony Hill Jr. slides to the Round 3 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Saints did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The Campbell reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
