Anderson should have been long gone. The Jaguars pounced, and earned a B.

The board owed the Jaguars one, and it paid up: Nic Anderson, the No. 143 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 5 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
