When a board-topper like Deion Burks slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Broncos did not. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The cost of the Carter Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
